Re-imagining Development Education
is the theme of the
Centre for Global Education's
annual Development Education conference

Wednesday, 9 April 2008 in St. Mary's University College,
Belfast
. The conference will explore new methodologies and actions supported by current practice and will discuss DE's future trajectory on the basis of recent policy and practice changes in the sector. SLOGA Development Education Conference, Slovenia: June 9-10, 2008.
The conference will be the main event of the Slovenian presidency project entitled ‘Difference is our Strength’. It will discuss the implementation of the European development education strategy with key stakeholders and decision makers from governments and from the European Commission and Parliament. DEEP Summer School
Getting eradication of global poverty and social inclusion on the political agenda through development education, campaigning, advocacy is the theme of the 2008 Development Education Summer School. This event, co-organised by DEEEP, CONCORD, PARTOS and COS Nederland and co-financed by the European Commission through the DEEEP, will take place from 22-29 June in the Netherlands.
