Education
DICE promotes an understanding of development education and intercultural education as one which:

  • Develops positive attitudes and values such as peace, tolerance and social justice.
  • Promotes global solidarity, human rights and environmental awareness.
  • Recognises and challenges discrimination and inequality

The most widely accepted definition of development education in Ireland today is that used by Irish Aid which states that development education is:
